What are âcookiesâ?
"Cookies" are small software tags that are stored on your computer through the browser, retaining only information related to your preferences, not including, as such, your personal data.
What are âcookiesâ for?
âCookiesâ are used to help determine the usefulness, interest and number of uses of your websites, allowing faster and more efficient browsing, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.
What types of âcookiesâ are there?
There are two groups of âcookiesâ that can be used - Permanent âCookiesâ - these are âcookiesâ that are stored at the browser level on your access equipment (PC, mobile and tablet) and that are used whenever you make a new visit to one of our websites. They are generally used to direct navigation to the user's interests, allowing us to provide a more personalized service. - Session âCookiesâ - these are temporary âcookiesâ that remain in your browserâs âcookieâ file until you leave the website. The information obtained by these âcookiesâ is used to analyze web traffic patterns, allowing us to identify problems and provide a better browsing experience.
For what purposes do we use âcookiesâ?
- Strictly necessary âCookiesâ - They allow you to browse the website and use its applications, as well as access secure areas of the website. Without these âcookiesâ, the services you have requested cannot be provided. - Analytical âCookiesâ - They are used anonymously for the purposes of creating and analyzing statistics, in order to improve the functioning of the website. - Functionality âCookiesâ - They save the user's preferences regarding the use of the website, so that it is not necessary to reconfigure the website each time they visit it. - Third-party âCookiesâ - Measure the success of applications and the effectiveness of third-party advertising. They can also be used in the sense of customizing a widget with user data. - Advertising âCookiesâ - They direct advertising based on the interests of each user, in order to direct advertising campaigns taking into account users' tastes, and, in addition, limit the number of times you see the advertisement, helping measuring the effectiveness of advertising and the success of website organization.
How can you manage âcookiesâ?
All browsers allow the user to accept, refuse or delete âcookiesâ, namely by selecting the appropriate settings in the respective browser. You can configure âcookiesâ in the âoptionsâ or âpreferencesâ menu of your browser.
Please note, however, that by disabling âcookiesâ you may prevent some web services from functioning correctly, partially or completely affecting your browsing experience.
